Ronald Baldonado is an associate at the Newport Beach office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara, LLP, practicing primarily in the areas of construction defect law and general civil litigation.
Mr. Baldonado was born in Torrance, California and was raised in Orange County. In June 2005, he graduated cum laude from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology, Law & Society and a minor in Political Science.
Following his undergraduate studies, Mr. Baldonado attended William S. Boyd School of Law at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. While in law school, he earned CALI Excellence for the Future Awards in the areas of Mediation and Advanced Issues in Criminal Law and Procedure. Following his first year, Mr. Baldonado served as a judicial extern for United States Magistrate Judge Peggy A. Leen in the District of Nevada and Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Mel Red Recana. During his final year at UNLV, he served as a student attorney in the Criminal Appellate Clinic at the UNLV Thomas & Mack Legal Clinic and as a certified law clerk for the United States Attorney's Office for the District of Nevada.
Prior to joining Bremer Whyte, Mr. Baldonado gained significant experience in insurance defense litigation. He worked as a law clerk in staff counsel offices for a major insurance company from May 2007 to December 2008. Afterwards, he was employed as an associate attorney at a law firm in Costa Mesa, California, practicing primarily in the defense of personal injury and property damage claims and multi-party complex construction defect litigation.
Mr. Baldonado was admitted to the State Bar of California in December 2008.
