Astha Ghai is an associate in the Newport Beach office of Bremer Whyte Brown & O’Meara LLP, practicing primarily in the areas of general civil litigation and construction defect law.

Ms. Ghai is a native Californian. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Business-Economics and Political Science in 2001, from the University of California at Riverside. Ms. Ghai obtained her Masters of Science in Urban Policy Analysis and Management in 2004, from New School University in New York, New York where she graduated with high honors.

Ms. Ghai graduated from Syracuse University College of Law in May of 2007. While attending Syracuse, Ms. Ghai was on the Dean’s list, Honor Roll and was awarded the Estate Planning Certificate. Ms. Ghai served as President of Syracuse University College of Law- Class of 2007, President of the South Asian Law Student Association, and Vice President of the Tax Society and was an active member of the Corporate Law Society. Upon completing her second year of law school, Ms. Ghai spent her summer as a Summer Associate at Goldman Sachs’ Regulatory Affairs Division. During her third year, Ms. Ghai was a teaching assistant for the Legal Research and Writing course at the College of Law and also participated in the Community Development Law Center’s externship program.

Ms. Ghai was admitted to the State Bar of California in 2008, and is licensed to practice before all courts in the State of California. Ms. Ghai is also an active member of the Orange County Bar Association and American Bar Association.
